Some basic details of a music-themed alternate universe of the PPC.

It was where literary horrors against fictional universes were fought with a tad more noise. It was where the Sunflower Official was known as Sunflower Conductor. It was the PPC Bandverse.
This alternate version of the PPC functioned much like the regular PPC, but instead of regularly malfunctioning electronic devices, PPC tech consisted of regularly malfunctioning musical instruments and microphones. DoSAT staff were called Tuners rather than Technicians, and console alarms sounded even more nightmarish than the ones found in the regular PPC.
Action department agents were divided into two types, Instrumentalists and Vocalists. The former category had violinists, bassists, drummers, DJs in their number, while the latter took pride in their pop idols, rappers, beatboxers, opera singers. An agent did not necessarily belong to one type for their entire career; agents had been known to switch types, and exactly five in all of Bandverse history were known to belong to both. Neither did the agents needed to be good musicians or singers; all but a few could barely play or sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Missions were regularly carried out and successfully completed, but sounds created during them were not the most pleasant thing to listen to.
Then one day, from that wonderful universe to the Prime Multiverse came three distinguished individuals.
